We Are Knitters Fig Scarf Review and Giveaway!

Thank you to We Are Knitters for sponsoring today’s post and giveaway. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

I consider myself to be a beginner when it comes to knit and crochet. I have dabbled in both, and I’ve been completing a few projects lately. I still need everything laid out step by step for me in order to crochet anything. I’m not familiar with all of the supplies and different kinds of yarn. There really is a learning curve when it comes to crocheting!

This is the perfect place for We Are Knitters to step in! By the name, you may not think that it includes crochet, but We Are Knitters has an awesome line of both crochet and knitting kits. Each kit comes with everything that you need. From the yarn, to the hook, to the pattern, and even the little needle to weave in the yarn ends, We Are Knitters has you covered!

The wool yarn is buttery and absolutely lovely! When I buy yarn at the store, I typically buy cheaper yarn, but after working this lovely Fig Scarf, I can tell how important using a premium yarn can be and what a difference that it makes in a project. We  Are Knitters sends out the most awesome yarn in their project that feels like a dream.

The kits range from beginner to advanced. You can order anything from a small scarf project to a large blanket project. All the supplies that you need will be delivered right to your door! The kit includes all the yarn for the project, the instructions, the hook, the needle for weaving in ends, the pattern, and a heavy duty brown bag for storing the supplies.

I crocheted the Fig Scarf. This is a beginner level scarf, and I was able to crochet it in about 45 minutes. The pattern is plainly laid out in the booklet, and it encourages you to embellish your creation with a brooch or anything else to make it your own! For instance, this scarf has a unique collar effect. But the way that I tie my scarves, I knew that I would like mine better with out that extra touch. So even though the projects come in a kit with instructions, you can still change it to be what works best for you!

The scarf looks great and I love the color. Knitting/crocheting is a skill I wish I had, but I feel like I do not have the patience to learn it.
