Ways to Save on Time and Healthcare Costs for Moms of Multiples #HealthcareClinic #shop

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser. #HealthcareClinic #CollectiveBias

One of my little men is sick this week, and he looks absolutely miserable. His little nose is stuffed up, and I know it’s hard on him to breathe through it. I haven’t taken him to the doctor yet. I’m hoping the cold clears up by itself because getting him to the doctor is difficult for me. As a mom of multiples, I can’t pack up and go whenever I feel like it. I’m blessed to have a daughter and adorable triplet boys, but having babies all the same age makes going places a feat. All my kiddos are still little and getting them ready to go to a doctor’s appointment takes longer than the appointment itself. My husband works during the day with little time off, so I ask him as a last resort. I’m home by myself on most days with no one to watch the kids while I take one to the doctor or to help me load up all the kids and go with me to the doctor. I am sure that any mom of multiples reading this right now can relate. I wish we had a convenient option closer to our house, like the Walgreens Healthcare Clinic Knoxville. With convenient hours and services, the Walgreens Healthcare Clinics offer excellent ways to save on time and healthcare costs for moms of multiples.

For now, my most convenient healthcare clinic happens in the most unlikely place– our living room. As soon as my daughter realized that one of the boys was sick, the doctor costume made an appearance. Dr. Big Sis gave him a complete examination, including a few pokes and one unfortunate shot. She stated that his temperature was an astounding 78 degrees, but she assured me that he would be okay.

I waited with baited breath for the official diagnosis. I have to admit– I really don’t know what to do about this one.

If we lived closer to a Walgreens Healthcare Clinic, we could have by-passed this unfortunate diagnosis. The clinics offer appointments and serve walk-in patients who are all cared for by Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioners. With treatment for patients 18 months and older, patients can make appointments or visit during the day or evening. I know I could really use those evening hours!

The Walgreens Healthcare Clinics provide a wide ranges of services. From sick visits to vaccinations and school physicals, Walgreens makes it easy for moms of multiples to get the healthcare needs met for all of their kids at the same time. The Walgreens Pharmacy is in-house, so that saves another trip (and gas money!), too.

And all moms of multiples know that time IS definitely money, so that makes Walgreens Healthcare Clinics a money saver, too!

I’m sorry your little guy is under the weather… but this is the cutest post I have read in a while! Your daughter is totally adorable and your patient looks so patient, haha. LOVED reading this! Looks like the clinics aren’t in Michigan, but I totally agree on getting everyone ready for an appointment. And does it freak anyone else out that all the sick kids always want to play with the toys in the waiting room?? GAH!

Yes, I agree about the toys. I know I always cringe in the waiting rooms and hiss at the kids for touching stuff. 🙂

Although the Health Care Clinic looks amazing, I think Dr. Big Sis is where it’s at!

Your kids are so cute! I can’t imagine having two on the same schedule with check-ups and whatnot – knowing that when one gets sick, the other probably will is bad enough. It’s nice that you can get meds and stuff without having to load everyone back into the car for another stop.

I, too, wish we had a Walgreens Health Clinic closer to our house. As much as I adore our pediatrician, the office times are nightmarishly long. I just want to get in and out with the illness taken care of. #client
