I go through a lot of “Thank You” cards. In my mind, if someone is wonderful enough to think of me or my family, then the very least that I can do is to send them a handwritten note. That being said, I tend to run out of “Thank You” cards quite frequently. I have a Silhouette, and most of the time I make these “A Thousand Thanks” thank you cards. But since I’m on the PSA Essentials Design Team this year, and they sent me a ton of awesome stamping supplies, I’ve been trying to branch out of my norm. This Washi Tape Stamped Thank You card is my first card that I’ve made in a long time, and I’m happy with how it looks. This may be my next go-to Thank You card!
Supplies:
- Solid color white card stock card
- Washi tape
- PSA Essentials Stamp body
- PSA Essentials Grapefruit Pink ink
- PSA Essentials “Thank You” Peel & Stick stamp
- Self healing mat
- Craft knife
Line of the card to one of the straight lines on the self healing mat.
Go down the sides of the card with a strip of washi tape. Extend the washi tape past the edges so that the card is attached to the self healing mat.
Continue adding washi tape until there is an open area just wide enough for the stamp. Press down the washi tape so that it firmly adheres to the card.
Add the PSA Essentials “Thank You” Peel & Stick stamp and the PSA Essentials ink to the PSA Essentials Stamp body. Using the guidelines on the mat, stamp “Thank You” in intervals down the center strip of the card.
Take the craft knife and carefully cut the washi tape from the edges of the card.
All done! The color combinations with this craft are endless. The best part of all is that one card only takes a few minutes to make. This makes it easy to whip up an entire card collection to have on hand.
One word about the blank cards- I do purchase these pre-made at the local arts and crafts store. I like buying them pre-made because they come with envelopes!
