The Nutcracker Cup Crush

A special thanks to Cameron’s Coffee for sponsoring today’s post and Nutcracker Cup Crush.

The last big surprise that I was able to pull over on my husband was when I purchased him a single serve coffee maker. For those who know my husband, it’s difficult to pull a surprise over on him. I was about five months pregnant with the boys, and I was already out of work for my pregnancy, so the last thing that he expected was a birthday surprise! We have put that coffee maker to daily use around our house. Once the boys were born, my husband would joke that the only way he could drink more coffee was if he had an IV drip. He loves trying new flavors of coffee, and if there’s a new one out there, he is going to buy it for sure! This week, we’ve been giving Cameron’s Coffee a try. Have you seen this new coffee in stores yet?

This single serve coffee is unique because rather than the traditional plastic cup bottom, there is a filter. The idea is to reduce plastic taste and waste by using a filtered bottom. The coffee cup still fits in a single serve coffee maker like other cups.

Cameron’s Coffee is sponsoring a fun #CrushTheCups campaign, where they are encouraging people to think of out of the box ways to crush their plastic single serve coffee cups. By uploading the video to their site, users are entered to win free coffee!

I made this little single serve coffee cup Santa Ornament this week. I decided to sacrifice it to the Nutcracker.
