A few weeks ago, I shared about the Crayola Thank a Teacher contest. My daughter was inspired by the contest to create a special thank you note for her second grade teacher. She has enjoyed all of her elementary school teachers, and she has disliked leaving them at the end of each year. She has her fingers crossed that her teacher will win one of the finalist prizes!
I know she’s serious about creating when she pulls out her big pack of Crayola crayons. She spent an hour coloring this thank you note to enter into the contest. Crayola has this colorable thank you printable note on their contest website that any one can download, print, and upload into the contest.
I always appreciate any chance to give back to the teacher’s who have made a difference in the lives of my kids. We aren’t always financially able to show our appreciation like we would like to as a family, and we love any opportunity to enter our kids’ teachers into a contest where they have the chance to win a great prize that would supplement their upcoming school year.
Have you had a special teacher in your child’s life who has made a difference? It is not too late to enter that awesome teacher into the Crayola Thank a Teacher contest! Kids may write their own note, color a picture, or utilize one of the downloadable notes on the Crayola Thank a Teacher site.
On National Teacher Appreciation Day, Crayola launched the Crayola Thank a Teacher Campaign to encourage children to proclaim their gratitude to the special teachers in their lives. Until August 25, 2018, families can create a special thank-you note for their teacher and upload it to the Crayola site. The entry will give the child a chance to win prizes for their family, that awesome teacher, or their amazing school. My daughter had all the heart eyes over these great prizes:
Crayola will award 10 finalists with prize packs inclusive of:
- $10,000 classroom makeover for the teacher
- One year supply of Crayola products for the school
- $1,000 scholarship for the student
- $1,000 gift card for both the teacher and school
- Free CreatEd seminar for the school
- For the grand prize, one lucky finalist will have his or her thank-you note featured on a special box of Crayola Crayons this holiday season. In addition, a weekly sweepstakes will run concurrently with the contest, offering entrants a chance to win $500 gift cards for themselves and their teachers.
Tell me about the favorite teacher in your children’s lives, and then head here to enter your special thank you note for that special teacher.
This is such a good idea! My daughter would love to do this. She always develops such great relationships with her teachers.
Oh my goodness – what a fantastic contest! Look at those prizes! Not only do we love our Crayola products but I know my children’s teachers do too. I will certainly be sharing this with them. It’s such an exciting time of year too with school back in session! I can only imagine how excited a teacher would be to win this!
What an amazing Contest!! I watch all the time how much my teacher friends spend on back to school and it isn’t even for their own children. This would be a fab contest to win. Thank you for promoting and helping our teachers!
What a special contest to reward some very special and hard-working teachers! I love the fact that this involves the students and showing appreciation for the wonderful teachers out there. 🙂 They deserve it and more. I’m sure the students and teachers who win will be ecstatic. Best of luck to your daughter!
This is such a great idea! I love that this could be something one of our students could win. It would bless the teacher so much! Just imagine how cool things could be in a classroom!
Aww this is such a great way to show appreciation for teachers. They really do a lot and probably don’t feel the love nearly enough. Great job Crayola for showing the teachers your support.
This is such a great idea! I know so many teachers who would appreciate something like this!
