The end of the school year is almost here! Teacher Appreciation Week for my kids’ teachers was a few weeks ago. But, with everything that I had going on, there were a few teachers that I didn’t get to show appreciation for at that time. I have spent a little time this week putting together gifts for the boys to hand out to their teachers. Everyone likes food gift cards, right?!?! I like to give teachers food gift cards, especially if I know of a place that the teacher likes to eat.
This is a simple gift to put together.
Supplies:
- Gift card
- Empty nugget box
- A bit of basket filler or shredded paper
- Lotion, candy, lip balm, or any other small items that you would like to add
- Ribbon
- Hole punch
- Gift tag
- White card stock
To download the gift tag, right click on the image below to save it to your computer. Print it out using your home printer.
The tag is designed as a 3″ by 3″ gift tag. Do not attempt to print larger or the gift tag will be pixelated.
Punch a hole in the corner of the tag.
Place the basket filler in the bottom of the box.
Add lotion or other items that you want to place in the box.
Place the gift card on top.
The items may shift a bit in the box. If this is a problem, you can always secure the items with a bit of clear tape on the back on the item if you like.
Close the box.
Tie ribbon around the box. Add the gift tag. Have the kids write their name on the tag.
The back of the tag is blank if the kids want to add a cute drawing.
What items do you give for Teacher Appreciation? Do you have a favorite thing to gift to teachers?
