Disclosure: I’d like to thank our local Papa Murphy’s for an excellent tour, dinner, and compensation for this post. All opinions, thoughts, and weird pizza combinations are my own.
Four days ago I had the best pizza that has ever been made at this house. And the best part? I didn’t even officially make it. I never would have thought that a Take ‘N’ Bake pizza from our local Papa Murphy’s Pizza would be so fresh! A Thai Pizza in twelve minutes? Yep, it’s what’s for dinner tonight!
I had the privilege of hanging out with Gordon Butler, the owner of our local Papa Murphy’s franchise. A few other local bloggers and I toured the facility and then made some custom pizzas. The restaurant is super clean, and we all were impressed with the size of the dough mixer!
The fresh ingredients looked amazing, and it was interesting to hear more of the science behind what goes into making the perfect pizza.
As a mom of a large family, the Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza concept appealed to me for a few reasons. One, we rarely are able to go to a restaurant and eat anymore. Taking the boys is just too difficult. Secondly, I’m plain tired of eating plain pizza. The kids only want either cheese or pepperoni. I miss my pizza veggies! The family sized pizza at Papa Murphy’s can be customized to please everybody. Half cheese for the kids, half Thai for me and the hubby. Gordon is extremely flexible when it comes to making pizzas. His store will seriously make a pizza any way that a customer wants it. I don’t know of any other pizza place in town that will divide a pizza that many ways!
After seeing a few of the other girls’ pizzas, I know that I need to go back so that I can try the other combinations. These look delicious!
For budding little chefs, the Mini Murph is a must-have. At just $3, the Mini Murph is the same value as a Happy Meal with better ingredients. My daughter was thrilled when I brought it home. She jumped right in and made her pizza for dinner. Half the ingredients never made it onto the pizza because she was eating them as she made it.
Thanks to Papa Murphy’s for having us #PapaMurphysMoms over for a tour and for providing dinner. It was a blast, and we will be back!
Wow, that is too fun! I’d love to do something like that! Our family is crazy about pizza!
We love Papa Murphy’s! Very often it really is what’s for dinner around here!
Love that it can be customized in so many different ways! My kids (and hubby) are picky and it seems I never get any veggies on my pizza either! Thanks for sharing your adventure!
WOW never even heard of Papa Murphy’s i’m in the Houston are so I will definitely check them out!
Wow – this likes so great! Will be looking forward to having a Papa Murphy’s near me. (And being invited to blog about it, too!!)
