I’m sharing this Sunshine Thank You card as part of the PSA Design Team. Thank you to PSA Essentials for providing the stamps for today’s card.
I’ve needed to send out a lot of thank you cards here lately. So many people have done awesome things for my family since learning of my son’s illness. I don’t get out of the house much, so when I ran out of thank you cards, I decided that I would simply have to make more. My goal is to keep creating thank you cards that anyone can create, whether that person has a die cutting machine or not. This Sunshine Thank You Card is my latest card in that endeavor.
If you follow along on Instagram, then I showed two cards that I made this past weekend. This design is my favorite between the two, thus why I’m sharing it first.
Supplies:
- Brown kraft card stock card
- Yellow washi tape
- Gold glitter tape
- Scissors
- Craft knife
- Self healing mat
- 3″ yellow circle
- 2″ yellow circle
- Glue stick
- Foam stickers
- PSA Essentials Stamp Body
- PSA Essentials Black Ink
- PSA Essentials Peel & Stick “Thank You” stamp
Position the larger circle so that a portion of it hangs off the right side and bottom of the card. Eyeball where it sits on the card.
Apply the yellow washi tape across the card. Tear it off underneath where the larger yellow circle will be.
Adhere the Glitter Tape on top of select pieces of the yellow washi tape.
Glue the larger yellow circle to the front of the card, making sure the ends of the washi tape are covered.
Stamp the smaller circle with the “Thank You” stamp. Use a foam sticker to attach the smaller circle on top of the larger circle.
Use the exacto knife to cut away the excess washi tape and the portion of the circle that hangs off the card.
Now send your summer thank you card to the recipient. Won’t they enjoy getting a little ray of sunshine in their mailbox?
