This school year has seemed longer than usual. And I know that if I feel that way as a parent, teachers feel that way times one hundred! I have heard from many teachers that they have experienced burn out and frustration at much higher levels this past year than others prior. I am thankful for the teachers in my children’s lives who have exerted a great deal of patience, love, and persistence this school year. This sweet little Succulent Teacher Appreciation gift (with a card made with the Cricut Maker) is a lovely way to end the school year. Pair it with your teacher’s favorite gift card!

Open up Cricut Design Space. Both of the images for these gift card attachments can be found in my ready made file here. You can customize the design to include your child’s name if you’d like!
Send the project to Cricut Design Space. Be sure to have the Cricut pen attachment inserted.
Remove the project from the cutting mat.
Use the hot glue gun to secure the card to a wooden craft stick.
Place the stick into the dirt around the succulent. Give to your favorite teacher!
Where to Buy Succulents
Succulents are available at most places where I can purchase plants, but my favorite place to snag succulents is through Succulent Box. With over 300 choices of plants, they have a fabulous variety. All of their plants are organically grown in Southern California.
Succulents Box offers individual plants for purchase, as well as subscription boxes. I especially like their gift box options. A Succulents Box Gift Box would be a lovely gift for that plant lover that has everything. Talk about happy mail, right?!?
Plants from Succulents Box come with care instructions. I have always received them carefully packaged. I have received a few shipments from Succulents Box, and none have ever arrived damaged.
