It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a Step2 toy for you guys! If you’ve been a reader for a while, then you know that I’ve served as a Step2 Brand Ambassador for a few years now. I began because they are the one toy brand that I can always count on being triplet tough, and this latest Hot Wheels Road Rally Raceway doesn’t disappoint.
Boy moms (and probably lots of girl moms, too!) know that the Hot Wheels craze is serious. My boys have a bin full of them, and they are a classic toy that never gets old. From the bath to the sandbox and everywhere in between, Hot Wheels cars are a fun way for kids to play imaginatively. I’ve always though that a partnership between the durable Step2 brand and the classic Hot Wheels brand was a match made in toy heaven. The Step2 Hot Wheels Road Rally Raceway combines everything that there is to love about the two brands.
The raceway was easy to put together and had clear instructions. I put it together by myself in under an hour.
Kids can push the cars around the platform portion of the raceway or let them go at the top of the ramp. The raceway comes with extra portions of flexible track that creates additional racing space. This track is the same track that Hot Wheels offers at toy stores (like Toys R Us), so I can find more if the boys want to to make another ramp on the other side.
I like that there is plenty of storage on the bottom of the raceway. Lots of cars fit into the black bins. The raceway comes with two Hot Wheels cars, but if your house is like mine, you probably have plenty of Hot Wheels cars for play already. 🙂
My boys can all fit around the raceway to play, but two can play comfortably.
