Download the I’m the Spittin’ Image of My Daddy SVG phrase to your computer and then upload it to Cricut Design Space. If you have never done this before, see this article on How to Upload SVG files to Cricut Design Space.
Measure the area on the baby bodysuit where you would like the image to go. Resize the image in the Design Space canvas to fit on the baby bodysuit.
Send the image to the Cricut machine, placing the iron-on vinyl on the StandardGrip cutting mat. Be sure to mirror the image when cutting and match the color vinyl with the cut.
Once the image is cut, use the weeding tool to remove any vinyl that is not needed in the design.
My favorite secret weapon when doing iron-on vinyl projects is the Cricut Interactive Heat Guide. This guide allows me to choose my type of iron-on material and my base material and then spits out a magic formula for me to utilize when adhering the iron-on vinyl to the canvas bag. Follow the instructions on the Cricut Interactive Heat Guide to place the design on the baby bodysuit.
Wouldn’t this also be adorable to add to a baby shower gift basket?
Here’s one for Mom, too!
