Two years ago I purchased my husband a Keurig as a surprise Christmas present. That particular year we had agreed to not buy each other Christmas presents, but we never stick to that agreement. Even though I was as big as a house (pregnant with triplets), I still managed to sneak to the store and buy him a Keurig. The brewer was totally for him, but I have to admit that I’ve developed a fondness for it over the years. I never thought that I would use it for beverages other than coffee as much as I do. Especially throughout the summer, we keep the Keurig rolling with Lipton® Brew Over Ice K-Cup® packs! And since it’s berry season here in the south, I also like to whip up a Simple Raspberry Syrup to have on hand for whatever tea variety that I‘m brewing.
We are a house divided when it comes to Iced Tea. I want Lemonade Iced Tea, and the hubby wants Sweet Tea. And when we have friends over, sometimes they want something totally different! Lipton® Brew Over Ice K-Cup® packs allow us to choose between Tea Lemonade Iced Tea, Classic Unsweetened Iced Tea, and Refresh Sweet Tea. We simply pick the variety that we want, place a 16-oz. cup under the brewer filled with ice, and insert the K-Cup® pack and brew on 6-oz. or 8-oz. setting.
It’s as simple as that to enjoy a great class of summer time tea!
Since I like fruity flavors, I also make this Simple Raspberry Syrup with fresh raspberries that we grow here at home. Take one 12 oz. package of raspberries, and combine them with about 1/4 cup water. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about five minutes. Remove the raspberries from the heat, and place them in a strainer. Be sure to have a container underneath! Press the raspberries (preferably with a wooden spoon) until all the juice is out and the raspberry pulp is left in the strainer. Place the syrup in the refrigerator for a few hours to cool. Add it to any beverage to give it a raspberry flavor!
Which Lipton® Brew Over Ice K-Cup® pack would you like to try? You can purchase Lipton K-Cups in stores and online at nationwide retailers where available.

This looks so tasty ~ I’m going to have to buy some Raspberry Syrup to add to my tea.
That looks DELICIOUS, Melanie! I’ve made simple syrup, but never simple raspberry syrup! Definitely pinning this one!
