Last week, while talking to a friend, she made the statement, “I just don’t know how I’m supposed to gift to everyone.” I thoroughly understand what she meant. There are so many people in our lives that we want to give back to during the holidays, but our budgets don’t always allow it. I’m always looking for small ways to demonstrate to others that we are thinking of them. My husband and I enjoy our weekly Redbox movie nights, and I thought it would be nice to gift the same to others. Redbox movie rental codes make inexpensive gifts, but festive packaging helps present them in a way that says demonstrates how fondly you care.
Supplies:
- Plastic ornament that splits in two parts
- Shredded red paper or basket filler
- Red ribbon
- Silver ribbon to make a small bow
- Hot glue gun and hot glue stick
- Small pack of candy
- Scissors
- Promo code printable image, as shown below
In order to begin, first you’ll need to purchase the Redbox movie promo codes. Head over to the gifting page to purchase these. The codes are good on any movie carried at Redbox, including new popular releases that are great for family movie night like Jurassic World, Inside Out, and Max. My daughter and I watched Inside Out recently, and it was a good movie.
Grab one of the below promo code printables. Right click the image to save it to your computer, then print it like you would any other image. I printed mine at “wallet” sized settings.
Gather your supplies.
Cut out one of the promo code printables. Write the Redbox promo code in the blank.
Insert the printable in one half of the ornament. Place shredded paper or basket filler behind the printable. In the other half of the ornament, place the candy and a few more pieces of filler. The purpose of the filler is to make the gift ornament look more festive, so you do not need much of it.
Combine the halves to make the ornament. Thread red ribbon through the hole in the top. Make a small bow out of the silver ribbon and hot glue in place.
Redbox promo code bundles and e-gift cards are great gifts for the holiday season. They can be used for 1-day rentals on movies and games, and the codes never expire. Redbox also offers Play Pass, a points-based rewards program that offers exclusive deals and freebies. You can sign up for Play Pass here.
