I like recycling/upcycling. Now that the hubby and I are on are a stricter budget, I hate to throw anything away even more. We’ve been going through baby rice boxes like nobody’s business, and I dislike tossing the substantial plastic containers. So today I’m recycling them!
This little project can be used for kitchen items, household items, or crafty items for the kids. It’s so easy that it really doesn’t need an explanation. But here ya’ go, anyway.
Remove the container wrapping and wash the container.
At this point, I pulled out my Cricut and the From My Kitchen cartridge. I used it to cut out kitchen related pictures using vinyl that I bought from Pick Your Plum.
I then used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to cut out the letters in vinyl that I needed.
Apply the vinyl, and use your new storage containers! Too easy, right??
How clever!!! Those turned out so cute too! PINNING!!!
I love this! Great way to upcycle and use a Cricut!
Love this idea! I have some of these in my cupboard. I will have to keep this in mind when they run out.
What a neat idea!! My boy just started on cereal so this is GREAT! New follower!!
