Every now and again, I meet someone in the blogging community who blows me away with their creativity and artistry. One such lady is Laura Kelly. I’m sure you’ve seen her work somewhere, even if you didn’t know it! Her product line spans from an online store to displays at AC Moore. Her latest venture, Lollipics, continues to not disappoint. She’s bringing her adorable doodles to life in an edible form! I’m super glad that she sent a few Lollipics and printables my way. I made a Quick and Easy Knight themed party for my kiddos. Thanks, Laura!
Using a few printables and Lollipics, I was able to throw together a quick Knight Themed party during the boys naptime. For me, every party should include a few basics: a tasty treat, a few cute decorations, and a fun craft. This easy Knight Party includes all of these.
A tasty treat
For our treat, we had Lollipics with knight themed doodles. The images on the lollipops are not only very sharp, but the Lollipics are also yummy. If you are looking for a way to customize your next party, check out the Lollipics website. Laura can do lots more other than knights!
If you’re planning a Knight Themed Party, creating a centerpiece with the Lollipics is easy. Since Knights are known for shiny metal, recycle an aluminum can to use as a centerpiece. I embellished the can with a piece from the Knights Party Printable Collection.
A few cute decorations
The Knights Party Printable Collection comes with a cute banner and a knight for decorations. Simply print them off and cut them out!
A fun craft
I’ve been on a paper plate craft kick here lately. Paper plates are cheap, and almost everyone has them hanging around the house. For this quick party, we are turning a paper plate into a Knight Mask.
Here’s the supplies that you’ll need for this craft:
- Uncoated paper plate
- Feathers
- Gray paint
- Paintbrush
- Black marker
- Glue or tape
- Scissors
- Wood stick, like a popsicle stick
Use the black marker to draw around the top portion of the plate, as seen below.
Cut out on the black line.
Paint the paper plate gray. Let the paint dry completely.
Draw black lines on the front.
Glue or tape the feathers on the top of the plate in the back so that they are sticking up.
Glue or tape the stick at the bottom for the child to hold the plate up like a mask.
Again, a special thanks to Laura Kelly for sending the items to inspire our Quick and Easy Knight Party. She also sent a collection of Lollipics with my blog logo! What a fun way to promote a blog or business!
Totally adorable. I am seeing these everywhere and I have to have them! I love the little knights but it’s so cool that you can design anything!
I like the little knights, too!
Oh my goodness! I LOVE this so much. You are the best!!!
So glad that you like it!
