Preemie Car Seat Sign

I received felt hand stickers from CraftProjectIdeas.com in hopes that I would post about them. All ideas and craft ideas are mine.

I haven’t gotten brave enough to take the babies out anywhere other than the doctor and the park (one time). For the most part, I’m just overwhelmed at the thought of getting them all out the door, but I’ve also been forewarned by the doctor of the consequences of the boys being exposed to too many germs. I know that if we ever do get them out of the house that we will attract a lot of attention, and I want to keep the babies as germ-free as possible. So today I’m sharing a little Car Seat Sign that I’ve made to put on their car seats. Even if you don’t have a preemie baby, this would make a nice printable to make for another mom who may have multiples or a preemie baby. Pair it with a container of hand sanitizer for a special little gift.

Supplies:

  • Car Seat Printable
  • Felt Hand from CraftProjectIdeas.com
  • Hole Punch
  • Scissors
  • Something to attach the sign to the car seat. I used twine.

Print off the car seat printable. I printed it in a 5×7 format. Right click the below image and save it to your computer to print.

That is so cute! It doesn’t have to be preemies either. I know it was always awkward to have to remind visitors to wash their hands. 🙂

What an AWESOME idea!!! I know a whole bunch of new moms (whether first or additionals) who are worried especially during flu season about keeping their babies germ free. The other thing that I’ve noticed is that everyone and his brother seems to think that they have free reign to touch, “love on”, and get into the face of every new baby available, and though it’s understandable the desire to be near this sweet bundle of joy, but it’s JUST PLAIN WRONG!!! I’ve even seen folks “stalk” up to the mother while she’s in line at the grocery store and when she’s busy paying the clerk, the “stalker” will home in right at that moment to spread their germs!!! This would make an AWESOME deterrent to those who don’t think of the health of the baby!!!!
