I don’t get to post Bible crafts as much as I want. Even so, the few that I have written about in the past have been well received. As a children’s church worker, I know how challenging it can be to find consistent material for every Sunday. For me, the ideal Children’s Church learning time consists of a lesson, a craft, and a coloring sheet. So, today, I’m trying to hook you up! I have a fun Pony Bead Cross Craft and three FREE reproducible coloring sheet downloads. Hopefully, there will be enough ideas to keep the kids occupied for a few Sundays, at least.
This Pony Bead Cross craft is a version of the Cross Birdfeeder from a few months back.
Supplies:
- 2 fuzzy sticks per cross
- Pony beads
Begin by stringing one fuzzy stick 3/4 full of beads, making a little loop at the top.
Bring the bottom of the stick up to the base of the loop and twist it in place.
String the second fuzzy stick about 3/4 full of beads. Twist the stick closed.
Fold the beaded fuzzy stick so that the opening is in the back.
Insert the second stick in the middle of the first. Twist the ends of the stick around the back of the first.
Push the two sticks together to make a cross.
I’m happy to have the opportunity to offer my readers THREE FREE coloring sheets from the Buck Denver Asks…What’s In The Bible? Coloring Book. Provided with permission from the publisher and Family Christian Stores, feel free to print these off for home use or for use in your church. Simply right click on the image, save to your computer, and then print. If you like what you see, be sure to pick up the book to take advantage of the full range of material!
