Do you have a little boy or little girl obsessed with planes? Make this Plane Propeller Gift Wrapping Embellishment for their gifts! Maybe you’re gifting an airplane toy to a child for Christmas this year. A little plane propeller to adorn the gift box is a cute addition to hint at what’s inside the package!
Supplies:
- Gray card stock
- A small metal brad
- Wooden scoop sticks (thanks to CraftProjectIdeas.com for these!)
- Black Paint
- Glue
Begin by painting the wooden scoop sticks black. Let them dry completely.
Cut a circle with approximately an inch diameter from the gray card stock. If you have a Keurig, K-Cups make a great “stencil” size for this project. Insert the brad in the center and fold the back pieces flat.
Glue the black scoop sticks to the back of the circle in a propeller arrangement.
Use tape to attach the propeller to a gift box. The wooden makes the embellishment heavy, so use your sturdiest tape. Alternately, you could also use glue to attach it to the package. I added a gift tag under the propeller, as well.
