Bible Journaling has become a way of meditating for me. Rather than quantity, I focus more on quality of my Bible reading. After a few weeks of just feeling “blah,” God has used several sermons and now the August Illustrated Faith devotional and kit to encourage me to “Persevere!”
If you have ordered any of the Illustrated Faith monthly kits in the past, then you may noticed that this one will look a bit different. Many Bible Journalers requested that the Illustrated Faith kits be at a lower price point, and August rings in the first month of a $20 kit. The kit includes devotional cards rather than a booklet and other small changes, but it is still the same inspirational kit that we have enjoyed each month.
When I received the kit, I immediately recorded a quick unboxing video. If you enjoy unboxing videos, be sure to check out the one below.
I couldn’t wait until August to complete Week 1 of the devotional.
I always like that the Illustrated Faith kits come with a variety of die-cuts and stickers that accompany any Bible Journaling page. I use many of them along with the devotional, but I always have plenty of items left over. If you have never ordered an Illustrated Faith devotional kit before, rest assured that the kit will come with enough creative elements for you to use in more pages than just for the four devotionals. The washi tape is a full roll, and the stamps can be used over and over again.
Let me know what you think about the new look and price point of the Illustrated Faith kits!
