While making those Valentine’s Day crafts for the kiddos, don’t forget about the teachers. This year, we are doing a combination of homemade and store bought with these Peppermint Candied Marshmallow Sticks, hot chocolate, and mugs. A huge thanks to Family Christian for supplying these sweet Love mugs that feature Romans 5:5. These Peppermint Candied Marshmallow Sticks are easy to make, and my daughter had fun helping with them, as well. They pair well with a mug of hot cocoa!
Ingredients:
- Large marshmallows
- Pink Candy Melting Discs
- Red and white (white chocolate) M&Ms, crushed
- Red and white striped straws- I purchase mine through Pick Your Plum when they are on sale
Following the directions on the bag, melt half of a bag of Pink Candy Melting Discs. Cut the straws in half while the discs are melting. Dip one end of the straw in the melted chocolate.
Insert the pink end of the straw into the marshmallow. Let hold it and let it dry for a minute or so.
Dip the top half of the marshmallow into the melted chocolate.
Before the chocolate dries, roll the marshmallow in the crushed M&Ms.
If you can keep from eating them, wrap these treats up and include them with a cute mug.
