On-the-Go Snacktime with Lunchables Jr. #LunchablesJR #shop

CB-sponsored-post-gray-script-600

I have a preschooler who has apparently had a growth spurt for the past year. No matter how large of a meal she has, she is asking for a snack shortly thereafter. It blows my mind how many snacks she wants, but then again she burns so many calories just being herself that I shouldn’t be surprised. I guess if I hopped around, woke up sleeping babies, played outside, climbed up and down the steps, and rolled around in the floor twenty times a day I would need extra snacks, too. I thought that once she was out of the infant years, I wouldn’t need to pack food for on the road anymore, but I was sorely mistaken. She always wants snacks in the car. Recently, we’ve been trying out the newly launched Lunchables Jr. sold exclusively at Walmart. With varieties like Ants on a Log, Very Berry Crunch, Blueberry Bonanza, and Teddy Bear Picnic, Lunchables Jr. packages have the things the make a preschooler say “Yum!”.

Lunchables Jr.

I’ve purchased traditional Lunchables since my daughter began preschool last year, but this new Lunchables Jr. line is specifically for kids 3+. These on-the-go snacks are convenient for in the car, after school, or anytime that a child needs a pick-me-up. I’m excited about the dried fruit pieces that are made with real fruit. That was definitely my daughter’s favorite part of the package. As a mom, I’m happy that they are small enough to throw in my handbag.

The Lunchables Jr. are found in the baby department on the baby and toddler food aisle in Walmart. See my shopping trip album for all the location details and pictures.

As I predicted in my shopping trip album, my daughter picked out one of the ‘berry’ varieties to try first- the Blueberry Bonanza. She scarfed it down like she hadn’t eaten all day (she had- multiple times- I promise!).

I managed to snag a picture of the inside of her Blueberry Bonanza Lunchables Jr. No wonder she ate it so quickly!
