No Bake Milky Way Cookies and 13 No Bake Summer Time Treats

Summer is the time for No Bake treats. The air conditioner runs enough without adding heat from the oven. No Bake treats are also great recipes that let the kids help out without the risk of getting burned. My No Bake Twix Cookies were such a hit last week that I decided to make another version of them– No Bake Milky Way Cookies! For more No Bake Summer Time Treats, be sure to check out the slideshow, sponsored by Foodie.com!

Ingredients:

  • White and Yellow colored Wilton candy melting discs
  • Crackers
  • Milky Way Bites, 6 ounce bag

No Bake Milky Way Cookie Ingredients from It Happens in a Blink

Begin by emptying one 6 ounce bag of Milky Way Bites onto a microwave safe plate. Melt in the microwave for thirty seconds. When they are finished, place two Milky Way Bites side by side in between two crackers and press together to form a Milky Way Bite sandwich. Set the Milky Way Bites and crackers to the side. Melt the candy discs in the microwave as directed on the package. For one bag of Milky Way Bites, I used 3/4ths of two different colors of discs. Only melt one color at a time. Once completely melted, dip the Milky Way Bites and crackers in the vibrant colored melted discs until the cookie is covered. Place on wax paper and allow the outer shell of the cookie to harden.
