Summer desserts are my favorite. The are lighter, fluffier, and a cool distraction from the summer heat. With Memorial Day quickly approaching, this No Bake Banana Pudding Bites recipe is a delicious dessert to add to your menu. It will be a potluck favorite in no time!
For years I made a no bake banana pudding, but one year I didn’t want to fool with spoons and bowls. Instead of creating a traditional pudding with NILLA Wafers, I topped the NILLA Wafers with the banana pudding ingredients to make a bite sized dessert that requires no utensils.
Since this dessert does use sliced banana, I recommend making it prior to serving or a few hours before serving. After assembling the ingredients, keep it refrigerated until the dessert is served.
NILLA Wafers make the perfect base for this desert. They do not become soggy with the pudding on top.
No Bake Banana Pudding Bites Ingredients:
- NILLA Wafers
- (8 ounce) tub of whipped topping
- (1) 3.4 ounce box of vanilla instant pudding bowl
- (2) bananas
- (2) cups of milk
Pour the vanilla pudding mix into a bowl. Add the two cups of milk. Use a whisk to combine the ingredients for 4 to 5 minutes. The mixture will thicken.
Add 1/4 cup of whipped topping to the pudding mixture. Fold.
The mixture will turn a bit lighter in color and be fluffier in texture.
Place the NILLA Wafers onto a serving platter.
Place pudding mixture into a zip top bag. Cut a small piece from one of the corners. Use the bag to “pipe” the pudding mixture onto each NILLA Wafer.
Slice the bananas.
Place one on top of the pudding on each NILLA Wafer.
Using another zip top bag in the same manner as above, pipe whipped topping on each banana.
Crush 3 or 4 NILLA Wafers. Use the crushed NILLA Wafers as a garnish to the top of each bite.
