Last year I started my first quilt. This was before getting pregnant with the triplets. I have to admit, I got kind of discouraged about the quilt. It was super big and I could barely sew it on my sewing machine deck. My sister wound up quilting it for me, but I still have it unfinished in my laundry room. That one quilt made me not ever want to make another. Then, I realized that I needed THREE crib quilts. Nursery bedding is expensive! I found one set on clearance, but I needed two that matched for the room that two of the babies are sharing. I ran across this Monogram Crib Quilt over at the Riley Blake Design Blog. I gave it a whirl for my first quilt, and I am pleased to announce that I finished it! Yay! In fact, I made two of them!
I used all fabric from JoAnn’s- the nursery print is from the Animals in Cars collection. My confidence is renewed. I am excited to think up my next quilt!! If only there was more time to actually work on them!
This is very cute!!!!!
So, so cute!
