I have a confession: I like shortcuts. I like shortcuts when feeding the boys (why can’t they all use one spoon?). I like shortcuts when driving (who said I can’t drive through that patch of grass?). But I especially like shortcuts when cooking. Anytime I can utilize pre-made ingredients to create a time-saving recipe, I’m gonna do it. I’ve been baking with MARS Bites for several months now, and I have found them to be a great shortcut in the kitchen. One of the newest varieties of MARS Bites, MILKY WAY® Simply Caramel, allows for easy 2 Ingredient Caramel Cookie Cups. Pair these with a fun Bingo night with Caramel Cookie Cups as the prize!
Let’s make the 2 Ingredient Cookie Cups first and then print out the bingo game while they are cooking!
Ingredients:
- MILKY WAY® Simply Caramel Bites
- Refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough (in tub or roll)
Preheat the oven to the temperature as directed on the cookie dough package. Roll rounded teaspoons of refrigerated cookie dough into balls. Drop the balls into an ungreased mini muffin pan.
Place the muffin pan into the oven. Cook for about 8 minutes. Pull the pan out of the oven. The dough will not not be done! But it should be somewhat set and filling out the muffin cups now. Using the back of a rounded teaspoon measuring spoon, press indentations into each of the cookie cups. Press a MILKY WAY® Simply Caramel Bite into each cookie cup indentation.
Place the pan back into the oven. Cookie for 5-6 more minutes, or until cookie cups have turned golden brown and MILKY WAY® Simply Caramel Bites appear to be melting. Pull the pan out of the oven, and press each MILKY WAY® Simply Caramel Bite so that the melted chocolate and caramel are melting out into the cookie cups.
Let the cookie cups cool for 2-3 minutes. Use a thin knife to loosen the cookie cups around the edges and place the cookie cups into a cooling rack.
Serve topped with whipped cream.
Now let’s play MARS Bites Bingo! I’ve created a collection of five bingo cards. After cooking with the MILKY WAY® Simply Caramel Bites, use what’s left in the package to play bingo. The MILKY WAY® Simply Caramel Bites fit perfectly into the bingo squares. The hardest part about this game is not snacking on the bingo chips!
