I am excited to share this Love Came Down Bible Journaling Page with you today! I also have a chance for one blessed reader to win an ESV Jouraling Bible of their own. Many thanks to Propeller Consulting, LLC for providing this prize for the giveaway. Choice of winners and opinions are 100% my own and NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I did receive a sample of the product in exchange for this review and post.
I’m constantly inspired by checking out other’s Bible Journaling pages. The amount of creativity in the Bible Journaling community is astounding. But even if you are not an artist extraordinaire, you can still create meaningful Bible Journaling pieces. Today I’m going to show you a SUPER simple Bible Journaling entry, and then I’m going to give one blessed reader a chance to win an ESV Journaling Bible of their very own (can you say Christmas present??)!
You do not need special artistic skills to create this. The supply list is short, too!
Supplies:
- Paintbrush
- Chunky glitter paint
- White card stock or sheet to protect bleed through to the back of the page
- Glue
- Chipboard star and heart OR a card stock star and heart cut out
I made this page to go along with the Christmas story. For me, the star represents Christ’s birth. The heart at the bottom of the page represents me. The paint streaks demonstrate how Jesus came down to earth for us.
There are very few steps to create the page. Glue the star and heart on the page.
Use the paintbrush and glitter paint to paint the star and make streaks that come down to the heart.
Let the paint dry completely. Done!
I’m journaling in an ESV Journaling Bible. It is a lovely Bible with a sturdy cover.
There is plenty of space on the sides of the pages for making notes or for artistic journaling.

I have been studying Genesis 6:4 and all the scriptures that I can find about it so I would probably journal my thoughts about my studies surrounding this topic.
My first journaling entry would probably be the Christmas story since we so close to the season. It would be fun to do that with my kids!
Oh gosh, I don’t know. Maybe something in Romans? I’m also doing a study so probably whatever scripture I’m reading is where I’d journal.
it depends on the day i was having
I would probably start with an Avent study.
Jermemiah 29:11. I have always wanted to do that verse.
My first entry would be about finally finding my faith again and having my 15 year old daughter decide to join me on the journey
I think I would start with Psalm 27:4 :: “One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.” It’s such a beautiful verse that anchors me when I start get side-tracked by everything else going on in life. Just one thing. That’s all. And that’s enough.
