I’m so excited that we are enjoying Thanksgiving at home this year! My daughter is excited, too. She says that we are going to “Party all Thanksgiving Day”. We’ve been planning our menu, but we also had to make these Thanksgiving Turkey Cutlery Holders for the kids’ table. This project mainly uses items that I already had around the house- and I got to use the wiggly eyes and glitter glue from my recent craftprojectideas.com goodie box.
Supplies:
- Toilet paper roll
- Red card stock
- Hot glue/hot glue gun
- Yellow/orange card stock
- Wiggly eyes (I used these from Craftprojectideas.com)
- Glitter glue for accent (I used red and gold from craftprojectideas.com)
Begin by covering the toilet paper roll with the red card stock. I used hot glue to secure it.
Now pinch one end of the toilet paper roll closed and secure it with hot glue.
Cut out a few card stock feathers from the orange and yellow papers. Glue these on the back of the toilet paper roll.
Now decorate the front of the turkey- or let the kids do it! We used wiggly eyes and glitter glue. Let dry.
Add a napkin and cutlery inside.
At least one part of Thanksgiving was easy, right!?!?
