Why do I love making Christmas ornaments so much? They are definitely one of my favorite Christmas items to craft. This DIY Jingle Bell Wreath Ornament will add a little jingle to your tree or a gift. This ornament took about ten minutes to make with items that I already had in my craft stash.
Supplies:
- Plain Christmas wreath ornament
- Crafting jingle bells (thank you to CraftProjectIdeas.com for sending over this package of Medium Silver and Gold Jingle Bells
- Floral wire
- Crafting wire cutters
- Crafting pliers
- Ribbon for a small bow
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue sticks
- Use a Holster Brands Hobby Holster to make hot glue gun work easy!
Cut small pieces of floral wire with the crafting wire cutters. Thread it through the small hole in the top of the jingle bell.
Using the pliers, tie the wire around the wreath ornament, twisting it tightly. Use the wire cutters to snip off any ends on the back of the ornament that are sticking out.
Continue this around the wreath ornament until you’ve added as many jingle bells as you want. Add a few or fill it up completely!
Use the ribbon to create a small bow.
Heat up the hot glue gun. Do you have a Holster Brands Hobby Holster? I love that I can heat my hot glue gun in the holster. It has space for hot glue sticks, and I can do small hot glue projects on the flat silicone rather than on my table. Dried hot glue peels right off, and the Hobby Holster is heat resistant up to 400 degrees.
Glue the bow to the top of the ornament. Hang on the tree or use on a gift!
Oh that holster thing is so cool! I need it. Joel got me one last year for my curling iron/flat iron and I love it! That ornament is so cute too!
