It is no secret that I’ve been trying to encourage everyone to invest in a daily devotional time this year. Yes, it is the beginning of February, but that does not mean that it is too late to start. Don’t wait until another New Year to try to kick off a quiet time with God. This should apply to yourself AND your kiddos. Sharing a daily devotional time with them is one of the best bonding activities that you can experience on a regular basis. And we all know that kids learn by example. What better example is there to give them!?!
I’m a long time fan of the Jesus Calling devotional by Sarah Young. I’ve read it through at least twice. When I heard that there is also a similar version for kids, I was immediately excited to get my daughter a copy.
Geared for kids from 6-10 years old, Jesus Today: Devotions for Kids is a wonderful guide for kids who may be diving in to their first daily devotional.
