It’s the last week of the Let’s Write a Note Series, and I’m hoping that we can end it with a bang! For the past three weeks, we’ve been deliberate in sending handwritten notes to those for whom we care. We’ve sent notes to family members, to a friend, and to someone who specifically needs encouragement. I hope that you’ve been able to participate, but, if not, it’s never too late to begin! A special thanks to JAM Paper and Envelope for providing a giveaway today!
This week, we’re writing Thank You notes! The Challenge is to write a Thank You note to someone in your life. It can be for a gift, for friendship, or for anything else that you wish to say “Thank You!”. Get the kids involved, too! Maybe they have had a birthday within the past few months or received a gift for a special occasion. Encourage them to write a Thank You note this week. Kids are never too young to begin learning to express gratitude.
My own personal challenge is to continue sending special handwritten notes even after this series is over. For me, this series has been a jumpstart to what I desire to be a habit, and I hope that it was for you, too!
If you’re a note card veteran or you’ve never sent a card in your entire life, I have a neat giveaway for you today. JAM Paper and Envelope is offering one of my readers a sample pack of their note cards and envelopes. The story behind JAM Paper and Envelope is pretty cool (the company name was acquired from the names of the family members in the business), and they have a large assortment of office supply and gift products on their website. JAM Paper and Envelope offers everything from binders and gel pens to gift wrapping and ribbon!
Today, they are giving away a sample pack which includes the following: 4 large card stock blank foldover note cards, 2 small card stock foldover note cards, 3 large envelopes, 1 medium envelope, and 2 small envelopes. The sample pack contains items from their Dark Base collection and the Metallic collection. The card stock feels very sturdy, and from a crafting standpoint, I think that they would hold up to a wide assortment of embellishments! The cards and envelopes from the Metallic collection are my favorite– they have a nice shimmer that reminds me of glitter. Who doesn’t like glitter?
Simply use the below Rafflecopter form to enter to win. Open to US residents only. Winner will be chosen on 9/26/14.

I haven’t participated in the Let’s Write a Note Challenge yet, but I actually do try to write notes to people regularly. I know how much I LOVE getting snail mail, so I try to make other people’s day by sending cards “just because.”
Thanks for the chance to win!
Really cool that you are doing this give away!! I love paper crafting!
I sent a few cards to social people in my life! Great idea for this challenge!
Not yet!
Not yet. But I plan too.
I love that you’re keeping hand written notes alive! Thank you again Melanie 🙂
My daughter lives a couple of hours away. Even though we text on a regular basis we still send handwritten notes on a regular basis. It makes me smile to see her stationary in a sea full of business type mail. To encourage the letter writing I pick up fun notecards from the dollar section at Michaels and Santa always brings cool stationary. Along with a note I include something funny or thought provoking that I find in a magazine or online. It is a great way to keep us close!
I like the idea of including an article or other little thing in the card. Very special!
No I havent but I write notes to people all the time. I remember when you sent out christmas cards & you wrote a personal note in each one.
No I havent, sounds fun.
Love this! I will definitely send out a card. 🙂
Oh, darn, I missed your giveaway! I think a hand written thank you note is so important and very special!
Keeping handwriting alive is so vital to our education and development. I love this “Let’s Write a Note Challenge”. Thanks for sharing Melanie!
