My kids are not the only ones doing summer reading! This post is sponsored by DaySpring, a site to find encouraging cards, decor, and books. My opinions and summer reading list are my own. This post may contain affiliate links, which won’t cost you extra, but helps support this site.
Whoever coined the term “lazy days of summer” did not have triplet preschool aged boys. I find that my time to read and do leisurely activities reduces in the summer with the kids at home, but we are having fun with family activities so that makes up for it. No matter my lack of time, I always get the inclination to read a few new books during the summer months. The kids get reading time, and so do I! I try to make the most of my reading time by selecting books that are encouraging, inspirational, and have topics about which I am interested to learn more.
If you are like me and do not have time to research the best seller list for a new read, I can always count on DaySpring to offer books that fall in one of the above categories. Currently, I am reading Raising Grateful Kids in an Entitled World by Kristen Welch. I’ll be sure to write a review and let you know what I think about the book once I am finished. After completion, I already have a number of other books that I would love to go through. If you are also searching for an inspirational read this summer, here are book suggestions to add to your reading list.
