A special thank you to Oriental Trading for providing the goodies for this Inexpensive Easter Craft Table for a Children’s Sunday School Class or Children’s Church.
Growing up in rural and small community churches, I understand all too well the challenges that come with budget planning. It can be difficult to come up with children’s crafts that are not only inexpensive but not time consuming. I like a good TP roll craft as good as anyone, but collecting 30 TP rolls for one quick children’s craft is a task within itself! Here are a few inexpensive, yet cute and useful, Easter ideas that I’ve found that I will be using in my Sunday School class this year.
Prayer Journal for Kids– Our first project will be a Prayer Journal for kids. I’ll be challenging the kids to use the next few weeks up to Easter to pray for their family and friends in preparation for Easter and journaling their prayers.
This Jesus rising from the dead craft from Oriental Trading is easy to put together. The foam pieces are sticky, and there are several pieces to this craft, but they are simple to assemble.
I thought this Sheep Craft was the cutest! I love how the mini clothespins pull the craft together.
Kids always like drawing in notebooks. I grabbed these mini notebooks for my class, as well as stamps and bouncy balls for games.
All of these items will last a long time since I purchased them in bulk. I’m excited to share a different Easter craft with my kiddos leading up to the holiday. Do you teach a Sunday School or Children’s Church class? What activities do you do in order to prepare for Easter?
I actually picked out the Geared up for God prayer journal for VBS! The lamb craft is so cute!
