Did you know that any Cricut image can be turned into a colorable image or page? Read on for the full tutorial! This post contains affiliate links.
Personalized coloring sheets and pages are fun! But for those (like me!) without fancy image editing or creating software, it can be difficult to make custom coloring sheets. Instead, I use my Cricut Explore Air 2. I have made them for different holidays and occasions, and I’ve added my kids’ names. Cricut Design Space makes it easy to turn any image that you find within the software into a coloring sheet or colorable image. Within a few minutes, you can have your own coloring book ready!
Open Cricut Design Space.
Select “Insert Shapes” and create a blank shape in the size that you want the coloring sheet/page to be. I’m using a square that is about six inches.
Click “Insert Images.”
Locate the image that you want to turn into a colorable image. Select it and place it into your design.
Place the image onto your shape. Make the image the size that you desire it to be.
Right click the image and “ungroup” the image.
One by one, click on each element and change it from the scissors (cut) icon to the pen (writing) icon.
Once all of the elements have been change to writing, group the image back together.
Attach the image and the shape together.
Send the image to your Cricut to cut and write.
I made this Easter egg for the upcoming Easter holiday. I think I’ll go back and make a different one for each of the kids. They always like holiday themed coloring pages, but they never color an entire book. This is a good way to give them an Easter themed coloring sheet without purchasing a whole book.
