Hey God I’ve Got Some Guy Named Jonah in My Stomach Book review & Give-away!

My daughter has heard the Bible story of Jonah and the big fish countless times. But for the first time ever, we have heard the story from the perspective of the big fish himself!

Hey God, I’ve Got Some Guy Names Jonah in My Stomach and I Think I’m Gonna Throw Up! is a cute book that looks at a traditional Bible classic in a nontraditional way. My daughter and I enjoyed reading the story together. The illustrations in the book compliment the storyline and make for a great visual. There is also a “Parent Connection” section in the book that helped me to dig deeper into the story with my daughter. We were able to not only enjoy an entertaining read, but the book also gave me an avenue to discuss an age old Bible story with her in a thought-provoking way.

This book is geared towards children ages 4 to 8 and is available on May 1, 2013. It is a reasonable price at $9.99!

Don’t want to wait until May? Win a copy of the book right here!!

Besides the resurrection? Probably either Daniel or Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego…
