Hamilton Beach Durathon Iron Giveaway!

Did you catch the Dance Bag that I showed off yesterday? I think my little one is excited to go to dance just so she can carry this very pink, sparkly bag. As any good seamstress knows, sewing projects require ironing to look professional and complete, and I can thank my Hamilton Beach Durathon Iron for helping me finish my Dance Bag!

The Hamilton Beach Durathon Iron is perfect for everyday ironing jobs, but also great for sewing. I used it in my Dance Bag project for ironing the fabric and for applying the interfacing. I applied the interfacing securely to all my fabric pieces for this dance bag in one attempt, unlike the multiple attempts that it usually takes me.  The heat and steam settings are perfect for applying interfacing!

Here are a few other features that I liked about this iron:
  • The non-stick soleplate is awesome! I can see this coming in handy with all my Heat ‘N Bond projects.
  • The automatic shut-off (because I’m forgetful sometimes)
  • The digital selection guide
  • The retractable cord- usually these are a pain, but in this iron, the cord whips right up into the bottom iron cavity!

Want more specs? This is what the Hamilton Beach Durathon Iron product webpage has to say:
  • Superior wrinkle removal
  • 40% more continuous steam power than the leading competitor
  • 10 times more durable than traditional nonstick
  • Scratch-resistant durability
  • Superior glide performance
  • 10 year limited solpelate warranty
  • Retractable cord
  • Digital control panel
  • 3-way auto shutoff
  • Anti-drip
  • Self clean
  • 1700 Watts
  •  Want to win a Durathon Digital Iron of your own? Hamilton Beach is generously giving away one to a lucky reader- a $49.99 value! Use the below Rafflecopter form to enter!
