Halloween Wreath from Lion Brand Yarn

How does one loose a wreath? I’m not really sure, but I made this wreath three years ago and then lost it. I guess misplaced is a better word, but when cleaning out the closet I discovered it behind some boxes. Talk about excited! I remember putting so much work into this wreath, and it’s one of my favorite Halloween wreaths. It’s cute with not a lot of spooky, and the kids get a kick out of the hanging spider. The spider looks a little pitiful, but that’s just because the kids have been playing with it right and left. I’ve had to reattach it more than once.
I made this wreath with a free pattern offered from Lion Brand Yarn. I first saw it in their mailer a long time ago. I’m not serious crocheter or knitter, but when I first began to teach myself how to crochet, I signed up for their newsletter several years back. If you’ve never visited their site, click {Here} to check it out. If you sign up for their site, you have access to loads of free crochet and knitting patterns, and you can subscribe to their mailer to get inspiration right in your email inbox. This post isn’t sponsored by Lion Brand Yarn in any way– I’m just passing along a resource that I, as a beginner yarn lover, have found to be helpful.
Halloween Wreath Pattern | (pattern via Lion Brand Yarn)
To get access to the pattern for this wreath, I do think that you have to sign up for their site. When signed in the clicking {THIS LINK} should take you to the pattern. The main difference that you’ll notice in mine is that I used white instead of the dark heather grey, partly because I wanted a white element and partly because I already had white yarn. I’m super happy with how it turned out. And you know it’s a winner when even the hubby likes it!
The pattern does call for minor crochet work. Once logged into you Lion Brand Yarn account, you should be able to click {Here} to visit the site for the Halloween wreath instructions.

So cute!! I LOVE the lion brand site. They have great patterns. If I was a wreath kind of gal I would totally copy this one. I love the white and that your spider is dangling.:)
