I’m all about easy family dinners. And tasty dinners with high quality ingredients are even better! With busy school nights, I am always on the lookout for dinners with fewer ingredients that take less time in the kitchen. These Garlic and Parmesan Meatball Sliders made with marinara sauce take traditional meatball sandwiches to the next level.
Garlic and Parmesan Meatball Sliders Ingredients:
- Marinara Sauce
- Butter rolls (12 pack)
- Meatballs (12) – homemade or pre-made, fresh or frozen
- 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pink Himalayan sea salt
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Optional: small cheese slices
Place the meatballs in a large pot. Pour the Marinara Sauce into the pot over the meatballs. Simmer on medium-low until the meatballs are cooked thoroughly.
In a small bowl, melt the butter until it is liquid. Add the garlic and Parmesan along with a dash of Pink Himalayan sea salt. Mix completely.
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
Place the rolls on a small baking sheet, cutting the rolls in half.
Brush the butter mixture over the top of the rolls and on the inside of the bottom half of the roll.
Optional: If you’ve chosen to add cheese, place a small piece of cheese on the bottom half of the roll at this point, as well.
Place in the pre-heated oven. Heat until the rolls are warmed through the the cheese is slightly melted.
Remove the rolls from the oven. Add a meatball with Marinara Sauce in the center of each roll.
Top the meatball with a dash of Parmesan cheese.
Pair with your family’s favorite sides for an easy family dinner.
I am all about sliders. I have experimented with so many burger combinations on tiny buns, and now, meatballs! These are super fun, and really, when they get simmering on the stove in a thick marinara, it is nearly impossible to resist scooping one out with a slice of bread. Perfect little snacks.
These sliders are a great idea for any time. They combine two of my favorites–garlic and parmesan. The picture makes them look amazing. I will definitely give these at try in my own kitchen.
What is it about miniature food – real food, not, like, a single shrimp on a big white plate with some green-something drizzled in a fancy pattern over for $50 – that’s just so darn appealing. Miniature pretzels, sliders (meatball, hamburger, turkey) – love it all. I’ve been wanting to make rolls for these slider creations, but just haven’t had the attention span. (Where I live, the only mini rolls you can get are of the Sara Lee Classic variety, and those have to be toasted to support even condiments.) This is a great excuse to try my recipe for buns – I’m thinking the addition of garlic would be a wonderful addition.
There are two things I like a lot about this recipe: it looks very easy to make and my kids would definitely eat this and not be fussy! My hubby, too – he’s picky about food. I’ll give this a go soon!
Yayyyy I love it..it’s going on my menu for next week. Thanks ❤️❤️😁
