This year my daughter decided that she waned a FROZEN themed party. At a little girl’s spa. Talk about throwing me for a loop. The spa was very accommodating to our FROZEN theme, but I definitely had to get crafty to combine the spa with FROZEN. There are many invitation ideas out there, but I couldn’t find any that combined a spa with FROZEN. After talking with some friends, I realized that a nail polish bottle would be easy to recreate. All I needed to do was add some FROZEN elements. So here’s our little invitations that we made. They are bottles of nail polish with a splash of FROZEN. If you have a Silhouette, then I have a free SVG cut file for you. And if you don’t, then I have a printable for cutting out your own FROZEN Spa Party invitations.
Of course, as luck would have it, I took a ton of pictures of how to assemble these. And then the SD card was destroyed before I could retrieve the photos. But the good news is that these are pretty cut and dry when it comes to putting them together.
- Heavy cardstock or (aff link) Silhouette Chipboard
- Glitter cardstock
- Plain White cardstock
- Textured Black Paper
- Twine or ribbon
- Snowflake cut outs
- Silhouette SVG file or printable cutting file (for those without a Silhouette)
Just for a preview, and so that you can see the different pieces of the invitation, here is what the Silhouette file looks like:
Here is what the printable file looks like:
Cut out all the elements for the invitation using either the Silhouette cut file or the printable file. The white cardstock is the part that should have the invitation wording on it. Since I cut mine with the (aff link) Silhouette machine, I used the Print and Cut feature. Cut the large nail polish background with the cardstock or chipboard. Glue the glitter paper nail polish bottle and the black nail polish top to this background. Glue the white invitation portion over the glitter paper. Cut a length of twine or ribbon and tie it around the black top. If desired, cut out a snowflake shape and tie it in with the twine.
Of course, you can always change theses up to fit whatever themed spa party that you may be throwing!
