My poor kids. Every year I force them to wear coordinating Halloween costumes. What fun is having multiples if they aren’t all cutesy in similar costumes? The first year, my daughter was Merida and the triplets were bears. I don’t think that there will ever be a more fitting Hallowee costume set for them, but we try each Halloween. Last year, my daughter was Snow White and the boys were dwarfs. The kids managed to agree on Halloween costumes this year. My girlie is going as Ariel, and the boys are going to be pirates. If I get really motivated I may decorate their wagon to look like a pirate ship. For now, I’m just happy that I grabbed their Halloween costumes today! I’m feeling very prepared!
If you need motivation to get prepared, here is an extra push: Portrait Innovations is offering parents with children dressed in costume, free portraits during a Halloween event taking place at all Portrait Innovations Studios across the country on Monday, October 26, 2015. I have many friends who use Portrait Innovations as their go-to photography studio, and they are always happy with their photos.
Photo opportunities will be from 4 – 6pm, and parents will receive a free 5×7 portrait and three digital images of each child dressed in costume. Portrait Innovations employees will also be handing out candy, to sweeten the deal! There will be no sales or appointments during this special event.
The portraits will be offered in conjunction with a Portrait Innovations photo contest for a chance to win one of three $5,000 cash prizes. The photo contest will be open from Monday, October 12 through Tuesday, November 3. Visit the page for the official $5,000 contest rules and to submit a portrait entry. I would love to hear that one of my reader’s lovely kiddos won a cash prize!
