We had a blast at my daughter’s flamingo birthday party! I’ll be sharing details from it this week, beginning with these Flamingo Party Invitations. This post may contain affiliate links.
What’s pretty in pink? A flamingo party, of course! This year, my daughter decided that she wanted a flamingo birthday party. Her favorite color is pink, and I think that was the specific draw here. Immediately, I knew that I wanted to hand make her invitations. I’ve been enjoying my Cricut Explore Air so much, and I was excited to test out the pen feature on print as small as I needed for the invitations.
To make these, I decided on a vertical invitation. Oh, and by the way, anywhere on the photos below where the ink or pen looks funky, it’s just where I’ve blotted out my kiddo’s name or my phone number and address.
Supplies:
I was impressed how the pen feature performed! My text is fairly small on the interior of the invitation below, but it turned out great!
I designed these in Cricut Design Space. You can see the project without the writing here. Add your text and then print! You can see an assortment of flamingos in the design space here.
I wasn’t thinking and didn’t add my hole for the ribbon until after I had assembled them. I used a hole punch to make the hole. If I had been thinking smarter, I would have made the hole with my Cricut. My brain isn’t fully functioning when I craft at night!
These are too cute and I need to try out the writing options!
