Fire Roasted Tomato Soup {recipe trial}

I recently found this amazing looking Fire Roasted Tomato Soup recipe at The Recipe Critic. I thought it looked delicious and easy enough for me to give it a try.

The soup was every bit as tasty as I expected it to be! My favorite part was the easy prep. The recipe uses several varieties of canned tomatoes to hasten the cook time.  I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great tomato soup. Head over to The Recipe Critic for the recipe.

The only part that I found challenging was transferring the soup to the blender. If anyone has any advice on how to move a huge pot of steaming hot soup to a blender, I’d like to hear it.

    Maybe using an immersion blender instead of the blender would work. I got one for my birthday last year and I love it.

    YUM!! I always use a scooper/ladel but it takes awhile. This looks like the grown up version from my kid days 🙂 Michelle
