This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gro-ables. All opinions are 100% mine.
A few week’s ago I shared how I am trying out these cool new Gro-ables seed pods from Miracle-Gro. I planted three different pods- tomato, spinach, and cilantro. Planting was so easy. I simply pulled the tab off the top of the pod and placed it in a six inch diameter clay pot of potting soil.

We’ve had cold weather intermingled with warm weather here, so on the cold days I kept the Miracle-Gro Gro-ables inside. But I always made sure to place them near a window for lots of sun! Luckily, the weather is warmer now so my seed pods are hanging outdoors.
After a few weeks of TLC, one of my seed pods is sprouting!
I can’t wait for them to be ready for harvesting. I was hoping that they would be ready for me to share with you today. After all, I have a healthy fish taco recipe just waiting to be made! But I’ll have to share it in a few more weeks.
Miracle-Gro Gro-ables make it easy to grow herbs and veggies in your home. They are ideal for someone who lives in a small space or for someone, like me, who doesn’t have the time for a large garden. I think they would also be nice for a new gardener. Or maybe the pods would look cute in a gardening related gift basket? At an affordable price of $1.29-$1.49, Miracle-Gro Gr-ables would be great for a variety of uses!
Gro-ables make the gardening process not so confusing, and they are guarenteed to grow when used as directed. This Sprout It Website has a wealth of information about what pods to grow for what type of garden you want to grow.
Do you have any recipes for me to try once my vegetables are harvested? Leave a link below and I will check it out!
Yay! I’m really curious to see how these turn out for you! I love having fresh herbs in the summer especially. We eat a lot of cilantro, basil, and rosemary.
I am going to check these out! I plan on getting out and working in my garden this weekend and I need to start planting now that the weather is getting warmer!
This seems like it’d be perfect for me and my black thumbs!
I want to do a few pots of veggies this spring… these will be perfect for what I was thinking!
I really want to try these! You could always make salsa with your tomatoes and cilantro!
This looks so fun & easy!
How cool to actually see a little sprout! These are totally intriguing to me 🙂
I just bought a whole bunch of plants today!! I kept an eye out for these Groables but didn’t see them where I was shopping. I was a little disappointed I missed out on them!
Yes, they are pretty cool!
Melanie, I LOVE these products! However, you must take care of seedings…..I forgot to take mine with me to Cleveland when Andy went for surgery and they were dead when I returned home! UGH!
Every spring I have such a desire to garden but it is something I struggle with. Maybe these gro-ables will help me. I will have to check them out!
