If you follow along with me on Instagram, then you know I made a few Sunshine Thank You cards a week or so ago. Initially, the card that I am posting today was my favorite while it was still only a thought. Once I began putting these ideas into action, the card that I posted last week won hands down! I still thought that I would post the tutorial for the second version, too. Even though it’s not my favorite, it is still a cheery version of the Sunshine Thank You card. It would be nice as a card set, right?
I’m also using my PSA Essentials Peel & Stick Thank You stamp as part of their design team!
Supplies:
- Card stock card
- Yellow washi tape
- Gold glitter tape
- Scissors
- Craft knife
- Self healing mat
- 2″ yellow circle
- 1″ yellow circle
- Glue stick
- Foam stickers
- PSA Essentials Stamp Body
- PSA Essentials Black Ink
- PSA Essentials Peel & Stick “Thank You” stamp
Place a piece of yellow washi tape across the card diagonally.
Continue adding pieces of yellow washi tape.
Cover the yellow washi tape with the gold glitter tape.
Go ahead and stamp the smaller circle with “Thank You.”
Use the foam stickers to adhere the yellow circles to one another and to the center of the card. With the craft knife, cut the washi tape and glitter tape to detach the card from the mat.
I bought the glitter tape on clearance at AC Moore a few weeks ago. I’m kind of loving it! I like the dimension that it adds to card making, and it is definitely better than using actual glitter! I have a pink roll that I am holding onto for just the right project.
