Getting ready for a birthday party? I’m over the Pinterest parties. Now I just want easy. For this last birthday party, I purchased store bought cupcakes and made quick cupcake toppers for them. These toppers are easy enough that even the kids could help out to make them. I’m using my PSA Essentials stamp for this project that I received as a part of their design team. A stamp makes it simple to create these Easy Age Cupcake Toppers!
Supplies:
- Toothpicks
- Glue
- Larger card stock circle, cut from patterned paper
- Smaller card stock circle, cut from plain paper (white is the best to show off the stamp!)
- PSA Essentials Stamp Body
- PSA Essentials Ink
- PSA Essentials Peel & Stick Stamp of your choice. You can use a stamp with the child’s age, favorite thing, birthday party theme, or anything!
Stamp the number (or whatever you have chosen) onto the smaller card stock circle. Glue the smaller circle in the center of the larger circle. Glue the toothpick to the back of the patterned card stock piece. Stick the toothpick in the top of the cupcake.
Tips and tricks: Have a die cutting machine? Use it to cut out large amounts of the card stock circles. A die cutting machine like a Cricut, Sizzix, or Silhouette makes cutting shapes so easy! If using the PSA Essentials Stamp on a circle smaller than the stamp body itself, consider stamping before cutting out the shape. Smaller circles may get caught up in the stamp pad.
