Double Cheese Spinach and Artichoke Dip with Kraft #FreshTake #cbias

This week has been a week of “firsts” for me. It’s my first Easter holiday season with a three year old and triplets. It’s the first time I’ve actually asked someone to help around the house that isn’t the hubby. And it’s the first time that I’ve ever made a dip. Let’s just say that it won’t be the last time for all of the above. Especially making the dip. I may do that every day.

The hubby and I splurge with an appetizer at restaurants maybe twice a year. Since we order an appetizer so infrequently, we almost always purchase a spinach dip because it’s our absolute favorite. After tasting this Double Cheese Spinach and Artichoke dip, I think our appetizer-ordering days are over, folks. Yes, it’s that good.

The key to this recipe is using simple ingredients that make life easier. I purchased quality pre-made ingredients during a recent Walmart shopping trip.

My secret weapon ingredient is the new Kraft Fresh Take Italian Parmesan Cheese and Breadcrumb Mix.

This new product from Kraft is located in the Packaged Cheese and Deli section at Walmart right next to the Kraft cheese.

There are several varieties of Kraft Fresh Take from which to choose (I can’t wait to try all of them!), and they can be used so many different ways. Each package consists of a cheese and breadcrumb mixture that makes recipes so easy- like this mouth-watering dip.

Ingredients
  • 1- package Kraft Fresh Take Italian Parmesan Cheese and Breadcrumb Mix
  • 1- 1/2 cups Kraft Italian Five Cheese Natural Cheese Shred
  • 1- 16 ounce bag of frozen chopped spinach
  • 1- 15 ounce jar of Asiago Romano Alfredo sauce
  • 4- cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 6 ounces of cream cheese, softened
  • 1- 14 ounce can or artichoke hearts
Prep- 15 minutes
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lay out the cream cheese to soften. Chop the four garlic cloves.  Drain and chop artichoke hearts.

Make- 5 minutes

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. It is not necessary to pre-mix the Kraft Fresh Take cheese and breadcrumbs since they are being mixed in the bowl with the other ingredients.

After thoroughly combining, spread the dip into a baking dish. I used an nine inch baking dish.

Bake- 50 minutes

Bake the dip for fifty minutes. Cheese should be completely melted. The cheese on top of the dip should be slightly browned.

Serve the dip with your favorite bread or chips. I paired mine with the Tostitos Artisan Baked Three Cheese Queso Chips (do you notice the cheese theme??).

The Kraft Fresh Take ingredients add a unique, crisp taste to this recipe. The Kraft Fresh Possibilities Tour truck which will be making stops across the country from March through the end of July. Unfortunately, it will not be stopping in my town, but check to see if it will be in yours!  Click {here} to see more photos of my Walmart shopping trip!
