Over the past few weeks, I’ve shared how I’ve done my little one’s dance photos the past two seasons. This year, I made a fun prop to go along with the photo session.
Supplies:
- Paint- I used a silver base and a metallic cover coat.
- Paintbrush
- Staple Gun
- Wooden letters
- Picture Hanging Wire
- Empty wooden frame
- Fun embellishments (optional)
***I started this project with an empty, pink painted wooden frame that I already had.
Begin by painting the DANCE letters. Paint with a base color (like silver) and let dry thoroughly. Cover this with a metallic coat and let dry thoroughly.
Take the empty wooden frame and stretch the picture hanging wire across the back in two sections. Be sure that these wires correspond with the top and bottom of the letters.
Line up the DANCE letters and staple them across the wire in several places. Make sure that the letters are in the correct order.
Add embellishments if wanted!!
Take your princess’ picture.
You bring the prop, and let her bring the sass. ๐
If you’re in dance recital mode, be sure to check out Dance Recital invitations.
Melanie, this prop is such a great project and makes for such a great photo!
