A special thank you to the North Carolina Transportation Museum for sponsoring this post.
Any Thomas the Tank fans out there? My daughter is finally old enough to truly enjoy and remember special events, so we are excited to take her to the North Carolina Transportation Museum – Day Out With Thomas this year!
I always like spreading the word about local events for parents to take their children. And since most kids love trains, the Day Out With Thomas is sure to be a fun event. I had a cousin who took her boys either last year or the year before, and they had such a memorable family time.
Interested in more information? The event is held Sept. 26-28 and Oct. 3-5. Day Out With Thomas is a family event that offers aspiring engineers and their families the unique opportunity to take a ride with the classic storybook engine, Thomas the Tank Engine at regional heritage railroads across the country. And this time around it’s stopping in NC!

I’ve had several friends attend the day out with Thomas and their little ones LOVED it!! Hopefully he’ll head to Georgia soon ๐
It sounds like fun!
My older son LOVED trains when he was little. In fact, we used Brio trains to motivate him to become potty trained! My guy would have LOVED a this event!
