Summer is coming to a close.
Sigh.
I adore the lazy days of summer and backyard entertaining. Even with my daughter heading back to school, I plan on fitting in a few more backyard get-togethers on the weekends. I’m not ready to give up tasty summer appetizers and checked tablecloths just yet!
This recipe for Crab Meat Appetizers is what I like to call “beard approved.” My husband- the bearded guy in the profile picture there- and his bearded friends devoured this recipe. I think that they would have been happy if this was the main meal. These Crab Meat Appetizers are sure to be a tasty addition at your next backyard party. It is a crowd pleasing recipe with just a few recipes. You don’t have to worry about spending all day in the kitchen with this recipe.
Crab Meat Appetizers Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of fresh crab meat
- Juice from (1) lemon
- 1/4 cup of Paleo mayo
- 1/2 cup diced red pepper
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- Ground black pepper
- Pink Himalayan sea salt
Use this crab meat appetizer to top Breton Artisanal Sweet Potato and Ancient Grains crackers. This premium cracker wows guests with its crisp texture and unique flavor. They are delicious for simple appetizers, delicious crusts, or eating them right out of the box.
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Add the ground black pepper and Pink Himalayan sea salt to taste.
Place the mixture in the refrigerator for a few hours for the flavors to combine.
Top each Breton cracker with a small amount of mixture or place the crab dip in a small bowl and let guests top the crackers with amount that they choose.
Yum, right?
I may need to throw together a quick get-together this weekend just to make these.

Definitely didn’t want the reminder that summer is coming to a close! Why does it seem like the shortest season of the year???
This crab dip looks delish! My friends and I will get together occasionally with a theme of food for the night. i.e. seafood, poultry, beef, etc. I am going to have to try this. I haven’t heard of these crackers though! I will need to look for them in my store. Thanks for sharing!
I refuse to believe that summer is coming to an end!
We have a couple of weeks left before school starts but the weather is nice enough that we can entertain outside for a few more weeks to come.
This appetizer looks so delicious! Can’t wait to try it with our friends and family.
Football season starts soon. This would be a perfect appetizer for a crowd watching one of the games! I love artisan crackers. I bet these are delish!
I’m kinda of an oddball I guess because I’m glad summer is coming to a close. Bring on the fall weather! I would love to have this crab appetizer any time of year. It looks really good and is something both my husband and I could share. Plus, it looks like a cinch to make.
This looks great for a party or for a snack! YUM!! My son is suddenly in love with all things crab. I wonder if he woudl enjoy this recipe too? It would be something he might enjoy for lunch.
