I really am lucky. I don’t have to get dressed and trek out on those cold winter mornings anymore. I used to loathe driving to work in the cold weather, especially on the days where snow was imminent. With a healthcare job, it was rare that our office would close early on icy days. This would leave me a nervous basket case on the drive home. Hey, I’m a southerner. We don’t drive in snow every day. Now, no matter how crazy my days are with the boys, I’m grateful that we can stay inside and remain snug in our pj’s if we want. My husband takes our daughter to preschool every day. They get ready, and I send her out the door in a rush. It seems like, regardless of the time they get up, there is never enough time for a peaceful morning. On a typical morning, my daughter is standing at the door, proclaiming how they are going to be late while my husband cranks out a cup of coffee in the Keurig. I think he’s pretty happy with the surprise Keurig that I gifted him for Christmas a few years back. We abuse ours on a daily basis. He brews his coffee and then runs out the door with it. I hope that he at least gets a few peaceful moments in the car. His birthday is this week, so I decided to help him out by buying him a few items to make his morning coffee dash a little easier. I hear him talk about how he likes the individual sugars and creamers that he gets at restaurants. I thought, “Why can’t he have that on the go from home?”. Therefore, these free printables were born. I can send the hubby out with a little coffee, and a lot of love, on the go. And filling his cup with the new McCafé coffee is icing on the cake!

First, I purchased my husband a set of recyclable and reusable cups with lids. We had much rather drink from a cup that can be washed and used again. On the other hand, the hubby is bad to leave his cups in the car for extended periods of time. And by extended periods, I mean weeks. These cups are sturdy enough to be used again and again, but not so permanent that I feel bad tossing them in the event of a mold manifestation. Walmart sells these awesome cups.

I think these individual creamers are so cute! I created labels that I could print, cut, and tape to the top of the creamer.

Each anecdote is a reminder of how awesome that I think he is or a saying to hopefully brighten his day.

In the spirit of the creamers, the individual sugars are wrapped with simple sayings. I may be sentimental, but if I still had a work desk I would collect all of these and hang them on a board.
