Christmas in July Guest Post- Decorate for Cheap!

Hey Yall! I’m Cassie and I blog over at Live.Laugh.L0ve. A mommy blogger who shares her journey through this crazy, beautiful life. Her faith. Her husband. Her children. Her fashion wanna be posts and life in general! I am so excited to be on Melanie’s blog today!

I posted this last year around Christmas time on my blog about how I decorated for cheap! So here it is! 🙂

I used what we had from last year and then made some more decor.

It’s not much because if you have been following my blog for awhile now you know that I don’t have very much to spend on decorations right now.

First up.
Our table decorations.
I took my silk china bowl, tore up some red tinsel and placed it inside.

I bought my favorite Christmas candy at cvs & poured it on top.

I love table centerpieces that have candy in them!
Then I took two mason jars and filled them with red ribbon I had.

I swear I am proof that you can decorate cute and not spend a dime!

I have had that table cloth forever!

Moving onto the ledge where our living room & kitchen meet.

For this first one. I gathered some acorn’s from out front.

I spray painted them silver with some silver spray paint I had on hand.

I put some of the acorns in a mason jar & some red flowers on top of them.

Thennnn I grabbed a vase. Put some red stencil in the bottom of the vase and put two red ornaments in the vase.

Hehe. Are you just dying to see it yet?!?!
Here it is!
